Description
The Saddle River Wormhole Ride.
This is one of my go-to wormhole rides. Saddle River possesses some of the priciest real estate in Bergen County and they know it; the town is zoned such that each lot is a minimum of two acres. The people there want quiet and remove, and thanks to the zoning, the roads are quiet. There’s a nice mix of climbing, mixed with rolling and flat roads. None of the climbs are particularly long, but there are many. The most challenging hills are toward the farther end of the ride, though after making it through the hills at the far end, the ride flattens out a good bit. The hills pick up again close to the end, with a final 14% grade in Englewood to empy whatever energy you have left.. While you are in suburbia the whole way, there aren’t many lights and there are long stretches of quiet roads.
