Books? Now you don’t need no stinkin’ books!  You can download New York City Bike Rides (Jersey and Westchester, too!) rides onto your phone or bike computer.  No paper.  More portable.

The rides are in all five boroughs, northern New Jersey, Westchester, and Rockland County–rides NYC people can easily get to. Over 60 rides are currently up, with more to come.

Manhattan (denoted with an M), The Bronx (Bx), Brooklyn (Bk), Queens (Q), Staten Island (SI), and Westchester (W) are live.  I’ve got longer Jersey rides (NJ) up, too and will get to shorter Jersey rides in Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken, and more soon.  There’s even a route in Rockland County (R).

The rides are priced individually and in bulk.  Bundles, baby!  Bulk provides a discount. And inspiration.

Regardless of whether purchased individually or as a bundle, each ride includes a PDF file with turns and advice and a GPX file that a route-reading app can read and display on a screen (bike computer, smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop)–or you can print out either or both and take with.
