Description
The Franklin Lakes Wormhole Ride is wonderfully lumpy and boasts great views.
This is one of my go-to wormhole rides. It’s a bit hillier than the other, a result of spending more miles going to the west and then coming back east; many of the hills are ridges that separate the valleys that run north-south. The biggest difficulty being a .9mile 8% hill that pitches up to 11% in sections. I think it’s worth it, as the rollercoasters both before and after the big hill are fun (there’s even a way to cut out the big climb if you so desire), with some being long gradually-descending sections which invite speed, even when tired. While you are in suburbia, there aren’t many lights and there are long stretches of quiet roads.
